Palm Springs Photo Op

On a recent late spring morning in the desert, our crew, photographer and stylist began setting up for an ambitious photo shoot. It was our good fortune to gain access to the former William Holden Estate in the Deepwell area of sunny Palm Springs, California, a mid-century property with a storied history, and the perfect backdrop for our new Slim Aarons American Icon Collection.



Situated at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, this sprawling property offered us ample opportunity to showcase our “stars”, with stunning backgrounds provided by the mountains and architecture.




The home has several outdoor seating areas. This one has its own fire pit.



Out of town friends can stay in the separate guest casita.



The entry way features an inner courtyard (which we dressed up as an outdoor yoga studio).



Of course, this being a desert oasis, the swimming pool was the co-star.
