Style Spotlight on Palm Beach
Santa Barbara Designs Double Decker umbrellas grace the Garden & Loggia at the inaugural Kips Bay Palm Beach Show House in Palm Beach, FL. Noted outdoor living designer Fernando Wong turned to Santa Barbara Designs to donate four stately Double Deckers to “add architecture, shade and a pop of personality” to the area he designed for the striking 1920’s Mediterranean style Show House benefitting both Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club and Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.
The outdoor spaces and landscape take center stage with design by Fernando Wong of Fernando Wong Outdoor Living Design. Mr. Wong’s Garden & Loggia invite guests to enjoy time outside with lush plantings, striking art, and cozy outdoor seating. “I selected Santa Barbara Double Deckers with keyhole valances to add historical reference to the outdoor living space of this striking 1920s Mediterranean mansion. I selected colors for the umbrella canopy and frames that were complementary to the colors of the house and the quintessential Palm Beach luxe lifestyle.”
The Santa Barbara Double Decker, a two-tiered showstopper, became the fashionable addition to many iconic oceanfront estates from coast to coast, and was made famous by the photography of Slim Aarons. From playful to sophisticated, Double Decker umbrellas, available in square and hexagon shapes, offer endless customization options. By pairing timeless Palm Beach colors with bold valance choices, Santa Barbara Umbrella created a chic timeless look for Fernando Wong and his Garden & Loggia at Kips Bay Palm Beach.
