Table Talk

One of the most frequent questions we hear is: what umbrella style is best for my table? There are so many choices when it comes to umbrellas and tables, that there really is no wrong answer to that question. Hexagons and octagons work with square tables, and square umbrellas can shade round tables. The rule is: there are no rules.

To demonstrate out point, we present here some of our favorite outdoor dining tableaux.

A square umbrella shades a rectangular table quite nicely.

And a round table, as well.

A hexagon in the center of a rectangular table provides ample shade.

And that goes double for a Double Decker.

Hexagons work at the end of a rectangular table, as well. Optional shade panels give extra protection from direct sunlight.

Of course, you can’t go wrong with an octagon in a round table.

As you can see, the possibilities are practically endless.

So … when planning your ultimate outdoor dining experience, be sure to include lots of space for shade – and creativity! (And always let your sales professional know if the umbrella is going in a table, so they can guide you with your specs.)
